ABOUT THE PLAYGIRLS

Nicole Caldwell has a master of science degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, a bachelor of arts from Hampshire College; and a penchant for PLAYGIRL as the mag’s E-in-C. Her experiences as a pro writer started at a young age with journal-writing, Sharpie scrawl on bathroom tile, and documentary coverage of cross-country trips aboard Greyhound buses. Her other interests include photography,
transients, string theory, hitch-hiking, politics, vinyl collections,
trees, tides, piano, and really good books.
Jessanne Collins is PLAYGIRL’s Managing Editor and resident blog tweaker. She has several abandoned novels-in-progress to show for her master’s degree in writing from the New School and knows a lot of boys, despite Smith College’s best efforts. Her extracurricular interests are limited to exotic animals, Scrabulous, dirty martinis, amateur social theory, southern Gothic literature, tacos, and lying dormant in the sun.
Corinne Weiner earned a degree in self-taught pornography at Pratt Institute, and moved up the ranks to become PLAYGIRL’s Art Director, bringing her level of personal debauchery to new heights. Besides being lucky enough to look at porn from 9-5, she also makes time for friends, rock ’n’ roll, reading naked, cats, drinking for free at art openings, power tools and boys, not necessarily in that order.
